These illustrations are sketches or studies looking at different colours and assemblage formations of shop stock for the finale version of the Betty Mim shop card. One thing I remember being struck by when I first walked into the Betty Mim shop was the dizzying array of weird and wonderful shapes that the jewellery and design objects took the shape of, and I tried to convey this, making an almost alien cityscape of the objects.
