ERUPTION

Eruption was a mini youth festival held in outer Brisbane in the summer of 2006 in Brisbane put on by the Brisbane Ciy Council. Ignoring the perhaps all too obvious temptation to make use of a volcanic related theme, I instead tried to imply an "eruption" of youth culture, as if the scene had recently exlpoded with a colourful painterly smear of youth, falling from the sky and descending upon the outer suburbs of Brisbane. Oh the joy!
