Palais Royale

This card was the formal invitation to the opening of the Palais Royale as a youth venue. The Palais is a heritage building built around the turn of last century as a dance hall. The ever progressive Newcastle Council are now renting the building in the interest of providing somewhere for the youth of the Newcastle region to hang out. The postcard was supposed to appeal to young people and councilors alike.
