AUTO FETISH

Auto Fetish was an exhibition held at the Newcastle Region Art Gallery that investigated car culture and its representation in contemporary art. I was commissioned to design the identity for the show in addition to the postcards, billboard, advertising, catalogue, music cd, stickers and exhibition website. The website was basically an online version of the print catalogue with a few additional features such as the illustrations I created for an Auto Fetish Calendar. Prior to the production of the website you can imagine my surprise when I discovered that the autofetish.com domain name was available and not taken by some weird car fetishist. Though - don't look now, we subsequently let the domain go and (surprise surprise) it's become a porn site.
