Oz in 30 Seconds was an ambitious and exciting project conceived in the leadup to the 2007 Australian elections, Getup launched a competition for australian voters to create 30 second videos highlighting what they felt were key electoral issues specific to them.
The site was built in drupal and made use of a user voting system whereby the most popular and relevent advertisments would rise to the top. Ultimately The winning advertisement was selected by a celebrity panel of judges then screened on prime time television with an awards night at the Sydney Opera House.
